What is "keyword density"?

Keyword density checks how often a specific word occurs in a text.

You can differentiate between:

  • absolute keyword density - counts the number of occurances of the given keyword in the text
  • relative keyword density - refers to the number of keywords as a percentage of the total word-count of a text
